Early Years in Pune
I arrived in Pune 21 years ago, a city renowned for its educational institutions, cultural heritage, and burgeoning IT industry. My initial years were filled with excitement and the inevitable challenges of adapting to a new city. Finding a place to live was the first hurdle. Over the years, I have lived in seven different rented flats. Each move brought its own set of experiences and memories, contributing to my journey in this vibrant city.
Home is Where the Heart Is
Despite the transient nature of my housing situation, each flat became a temporary home, filled with moments of joy, learning, and growth. From my first modest flat to the more spacious flats I moved into later, these places have seen the evolution of my life and work. Moving frequently meant adapting to new neighbourhoods, making new friends, and embracing change as a constant companion.
Family and Personal Life
The biggest blessings of my life are my two daughters, Nirvi and Nia. They are my greatest achievements and the true treasures of my journey. Watching them grow and thrive has been the most rewarding experience. They have been my source of strength and motivation, reminding me of the importance of perseverance and love.
Professional Journey
My professional identity has remained unshaken throughout these years. As a healthcare entrepreneur, I have dedicated myself to the field of medical entrepreneurship. Our family startup, healthcare nt sickcare, founded in 2004 with the invaluable help of my brother-in-law, Unnikrishnan CG, has been the cornerstone of my professional life. The startup was a vision to provide quality healthcare services, and over the years, it has grown, overcoming numerous challenges and celebrating many successes.
Financial and Personal Reflections
Despite not having personal savings, investments, or property to my name, I have gained immense knowledge, experience, and resilience. These 21 years have taught me the value of hard work, the importance of family support, and the satisfaction of contributing to society through my work. Financial wealth may have eluded me, but the wealth of experiences and relationships I have built is invaluable.
Looking Forward
As I reflect on my journey in Pune, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities and challenges that have shaped me. I look forward to continuing my work in healthcare, watching my daughters grow, and perhaps one day, settling into a home that I can call my own. Until then, I embrace the journey with optimism and hope, ready to face whatever comes next.
Conclusion
My 21 years in Pune have been a tapestry of varied experiences. From moving between rented flats to nurturing my daughters and building a healthcare startup, every moment has been a step in a journey of growth and self-discovery. I am proud of what I have achieved and eager for what lies ahead, knowing that Pune will always be a significant part of my life’s story.
